Pressure to get a smartphone.

I am getting pressured professionally into getting a smartphone. The very thing I can’t afford. More then anything I can  afford subscription to a cell phone. As where I live our only choice is Verizon. They charge an arm and leg for service and when you add a smartphone to them mix. The price goes up even higher. 

What is annoying is I rarely even talk on the phone. Regardless if it is a cell or a land line.  I hate talking on the phone. Much rather communicate by messaging and e-mail. I do much better writing things out then talking them out. Talking on the fly just makes me sound like an idiot. Not a person with an advance college degree. 

Annoying.
